About the Founder

George is a Finance Leader and digital transformation professional with 2 decades of experience cutting across professional consulting practice, public entities, and private companies.

George started out his finance career with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked in the Assurance line of Service (Audit).

He has risen through the finance ranks by working for very notable organizations including Etranzact International Plc, Jumia Group, Kuda Bank, Dealdey Limited, Slimtrader Limited, and Slot Systems Ltd.

He is a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and holds an MBA in Finance.

He is also a certified Project Management professional (PMP©, PSM©, PSPO©) with special interest in Agile methodology for project delivery and business transformation.

George has been involved in a number of transformation projects, which has helped companies save millions of dollars.

Due to his love for the finance and accounting profession, he founded “The Finance Business Partners (FBP)”, a community dedicated to changing the narrative for young finance professionals by bridging the gap between academic education and real world job requirements through the concept of “Connected Learning”.

As at today, FBP has over 12,000 members across multiple schools, social channels and different countries.

George spends most his time promoting the concept of "Connected Learning" by mentoring young professionals and learning about how artificial intelligence and automation can help disrupt how finance professionals will function in the future.

Seun Balogun - CoFounder

Seun is a Senior Consultant at FAG Consulting, an innovative business support and consultancy firm focused on providing Accounting, Tax, Advisory, Assurance, Digital Consulting, and other management services to businesses in Nigeria and abroad.

Over the past couple of years with FAG Consulting, Seun has served in various capacities, delivering services to clients across multiple industries, including Oil and Gas, NGOs, Financial Services, HealthCare, Educational, Retail, and IT. He began his journey as a qualified trainee and quickly progressed through the ranks.

In the recent years, Seun has played a pivotal role in a Business Process Reengineering project for a leading oil & Gas and Logistics Client, where he developed and implemented efficient process workflows for the internal audit and procurement units. He also supervised and led a team of verification officers for SME Grant & Loan initiatives by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), earning the firm recognition as the best business support development partner for 2022 and 2023.

Seun has actively managed and led teams on large projects involving tax and transaction advisory services, demonstrating his expertise of the Nigerian Tax laws.

Seun is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
